"For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15
There will be a resurrection of all mankind. Guaranteed.
The footstep followers of Christ receive a heavenly resurrection; the remainder of mankind receives an earthly resurrection.
"But your dead will live, Lord; their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy—
your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead." Isaiah 26:19
This is a resurrection of opportunity, and they will learn to love one another and make amends for what they did in this life.
"But I tell you that for every careless word that a man shall speak, he will give an account of it on the day of judgment." Matthew 12:36
At the end of Christ's kingdom, the day of judgment, those who decided not to live in harmony with their fellow man will die a second time, from which there is no resurrection.
We believe and hope there will be very few who die the second death. For God's plan of restitution is an all-encompassing plan.
"Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God our Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For he “has put everything under his feet.” ... When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all." 1 Corinthians 15
“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’ Matthew 25
Do the best you can to be kind to one another.
